Sokoban Skies is published by Mohannad Azzi ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game does with information, on Android and iOS. It covers the game only, not the app stores you downloaded it from.
Questions, or a request about your data: mohannad.ezzi@gmail.com.
Sokoban Skies writes a small number of files to its own private storage area. These files stay on your device, are not readable by other apps, and are never sent to us or anyone else. They hold:
Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means there is no way for us to restore it.
The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. There are two kinds: a full-screen ad after a level you have just finished — at most one every three minutes — and an optional ad you can choose to watch in exchange for one life. You are never shown an ad in the middle of a puzzle.
To serve an ad, Google receives information from your device. Google — not us — decides what it collects and how it uses it. Typically this includes:
We never see this information, and we receive no report that identifies you. What we can see from Google is aggregate totals: how many ads were shown, and how much they earned.
| Where | What happens |
|---|---|
| Android (Google Play) |
The game's target audience on Google Play includes children, so every player is treated as a child, whatever their age. Ads are never personalised, the advertising identifier is not used to build a profile, and ad content is limited to the G (general audiences) rating. |
| iOS (App Store) |
The game is rated 4+ but is not in the Kids Category. Ads are personalised only if you allow it — see the prompts below. If you say no to either, you still see ads, but they are chosen without using your identifier. |
Both appear on the loading screen, before you reach the game, and only once.
A consent form, if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. It is Google's User Messaging Platform form, and it asks whether Google and its advertising partners may use your data.
The App Tracking Transparency prompt, on iOS only. Apple asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. Saying "Ask App Not to Track" means the IDFA is not used, and ads are not personalised. Apple shows this prompt once; you can change the answer later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If the game cannot reach the network when it starts, no ads are requested at all, and it remains fully playable — including every one of its 200 levels.
Sokoban Skies currently has no purchases. Nothing in the game can be bought, and it can be finished without paying. If that changes, this policy changes with it before the feature ships.
The game gives you five lives. Restarting a level, or leaving one part-solved, costs one, and a life comes back every thirty minutes. The countdown is worked out from your device's own clock and is stored on the device; nothing about it is sent anywhere.
When you have none left you can wait, or you can choose to watch an ad for one. Watching is always optional and always something you tap: the game never plays a rewarded ad on its own.
Sokoban Skies is suitable for all ages and is listed on Google Play with a target audience that includes children. Because of that:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to mohannad.ezzi@gmail.com and we will delete anything we hold.

There is no analytics service, no crash-reporting service, no social network integration and no advertising network other than AdMob.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it is used, or to receive a copy.
We hold no personal data about you ourselves — the game keeps everything on your device and sends us nothing — so in practice a request to us will find nothing to return. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, use the links in section 6, or write to us and we will point you to the right place.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the updated version appears here and at the link inside the game. Material changes to how advertising works will also be reflected in the consent form.
