Privacy Policy
Cards52 ("the App," "we," "us") is a collection of card, board, and puzzle games published by Mohannad Azzi. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Cards52 has no account system and no login — you never create a profile or give us your name, email, or any other identifying information directly. The information described below is collected only through the third-party services the App uses: Google AdMob for advertising, and Apple's StoreKit (via the gdx-pay library) for in-app purchases.

We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data, we do not have a user account system, and we do not sell your data.
Cards52 shows ads (banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded video ads) through Google AdMob to support free play. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, and ad-interaction data as summarized above, and may share this data with Google's advertising partners for the purposes of ad delivery, fraud prevention, and analytics. Google's own privacy policy governs how it handles this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you purchase the "Remove Ads" subscription described below, ads stop being shown and AdMob no longer collects data through the App (rewarded video ads, if you choose to watch one for bonus coins, remain available even with an active subscription and involve the same AdMob data collection described above for that single ad view).
Cards52 offers optional consumable coin packs and an optional auto-renewable "Remove Ads" subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly). All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit; the App never sees or stores your payment card details. We only receive confirmation that a purchase completed, which we use locally on your device to credit coins or unlock ad-free play. Refunds, billing questions, and subscription management are handled through your Apple ID account settings, not through the App.
The Puzzle game lets you turn a photo from your device's photo library into a sliding jigsaw.
On iOS, the App uses Apple's PHPickerViewController, which runs outside the App's own
process — the App only receives the single image you explicitly select, and Apple does not require
(or grant) the App any broader access to your photo library. The selected image is decoded and
used entirely on your device to build the puzzle board; it is never uploaded, transmitted, cached
on a remote server, or shared with any third party, including AdMob. Once you leave the Puzzle
game or close the App, the image is not retained anywhere outside your own device's normal photo
library.
On iOS 14.5 and later, the App requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any identifier is used for cross-app tracking or ad personalization. You can:
If you deny tracking permission, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized using your advertising identifier.
Because Cards52 has no account system and no backend server of our own, most of what the App "remembers" — your coin balance, XP, level, unlocked levels, and settings — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS app storage, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App. Data collected by AdMob and StoreKit is retained according to Google's and Apple's own retention policies, not ours.
Cards52 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, or to object to certain processing. Because the App itself does not hold an account profile tied to your identity, most such requests are best directed to Google (for AdMob data) or Apple (for purchase data) directly, using the links above. You're welcome to contact us as well and we'll help point you in the right direction.
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that collects different data. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will also be reflected in the App's version notes on the App Store.
